suretheenginebrakeisswitched
“OFF”whenbobtailingorwithan
unloadedtrailer.Failuretocom-
plymayresultindeath,personal
injury,equipmentorpropertydam-
age.
Toreducevehiclespeed,putthe
enginebrake“ON/OFF”switchinthe
“ON”position.Removeyourfootfrom
theacceleratorpedalandclutchpedal.
Theenginebrakeswillimmediately
begintooperate,slowingthevehicle.
Foroperationondryandrelativelyat
surfaces,whengreaterretardingpower
isnotrequired,putthetwo-position
selectorswitchinthe“LOW”position.
Foroperationondrypavementwhen
maximumretardingpowerisrequired,
putthetwo-positionselectorswitchin
the“HI”position.
