causesevereenginedamage,
equipmentorpropertydamage.
Iftheoilpressurefailstorisewithin
10secondsaftertheenginestarts,
stoptheengineanddeterminethe
cause.

Iftheoilpressuresuddenlydrops,
ortheaudiblealarmandengine
oilpressurewarninglightcomeon
whiledriving,dothefollowing:
1.Slowdowncarefully.
2.Moveasafedistanceofftheroad
andstop.
3.Placethetransmissioninneutral
(N)andsettheparkingbrake.

fortransmissionshiftingand
parkingbrakeinformation.)
4.TurnOFFtheengine.
5.TurnONtheemergencyasher
anduseotherwarningdevicesto
alertothermotorists.
6.Waita15–20minutestoallow
oiltodrainintotheengineoil
pan,andthenchecktheoillevel.

7.Addoilifnecessary.Iftheproblem
persists,contactanauthorized
PACCARenginedealerassoon
aspossible.
