performedatthesiteofthefailure.
OwnerResponsibilities
Theownerisresponsibleforthe
operationandmaintenanceofthe
engineasspeciedintheapplicable
PACCAROperator’sManual.Owner
isalsoresponsibleforprovidingproof
thatallrecommendedmaintenance
hasbeenperformed.
Beforetheexpirationoftheapplicable
warranty,Ownermustnotifya
PACCARauthorizeddealeroran
authorizedCumminsDistributorof
anywarrantablefailureandmake
theengineavailableforrepairby
suchfacility.Thewarrantablefailure
mustbebroughttotheattentionofa
PACCARauthorizedenginedealer
within30daysofdiscovery.Owner
mustalsodelivertheenginetothe
authorizedenginerepairfacilityduring
thewarrantyperiodunlessdeliveris
impossiblebecausetheenginehas
beendisabledbyawarrantablefailure.
Theownerisresponsibleforthecost
oflubricatingoil,antifreeze,lter
elementsandothermaintenance
itemsprovidedduringwarrantyrepairs
unlesssuchitemsarenotreusable
duetothewarrantablefailure.Owner
isresponsibleforcommunication
expenses,meals,lodgingandsimilar
costsincurredasaresultofa
warrantablefailure.
Theownerisresponsiblefor
non-enginerepairsandfor“downtime”
expenses,cargodamage,nes,all
applicabletaxes,allbusinesscosts
andotherlossesresultingfroma
warrantablefailure.
