OwnerResponsibilities
Theownerisresponsibleforthe
operationandmaintenanceofthe
engineasspeciedinPACCAR
Operator’sManual.Theownerisalso
responsibleforprovidingproofthatall
recommendedmaintenancehasbeen
performed.
Beforetheexpirationoftheapplicable
warranty,Ownermustnotifya
PACCARauthorizeddealeroran
authorizedCumminsDistributorof
anywarrantablefailureandmake
theengineavailableforrepairby
suchfacility.Thewarrantablefailure
mustbebroughttotheattentionofa
PACCARauthorizedenginedealer
within30daysofdiscovery.Except
forenginesdisabledbyawarrantable
failure,ownermustalsodeliverthe
enginetotherepairfacility.
Theownerisresponsibleforthecost
oflubricatingoil,antifreeze,lter
elementsandothermaintenance
itemsprovidedduringwarrantyrepairs
unlesssuchitemsarenotreusable
duetothewarrantablefailure.
Theownerisresponsiblefor
communicationexpenses,meals,
lodgingandsimilarcostsincurredasa
resultofawarrantablefailure.
Theownerisresponsiblefor
non-enginerepairsandfordowntime
expenses,cargodamage,nes,all
applicabletaxes,allbusinesscosts
andotherlossesresultingfroma
warrantablefailure.
Theownerisresponsiblefora$100
(U.S.Dollars)deductiblepereach
servicevisitunderthisplaninthe3rd,
4th,and5thyearsofbaseengine
warranty.Thedeductiblewillnotbe
chargedduringthersttwoyearsof
thebaseenginewarranty.
