Beaming problems
Problem Solution
I cannot beam data to
another Palm
Computing platform
handheld.
■
For best results, Palm organizers should
be between 10 centimeters
(approximately 4 inches) and 1 meter
(approximately 39 inches) apart, and the
path between the two organizers must
be clear of obstacles. Beaming distance
to other Palm Computing platform
handhelds may be different.
■
Move your organizer closer to the
receiving handheld.
■
Perform a soft reset. See “Performing a
soft reset” in Appendix A for more
information.
When someone
beams data to my
organizer, I get a
message telling me it
is out of memory.
■ Your organizer requires at least twice
the amount of memory available as the
data you are receiving. For example, if
you are receiving a 30K application, you
must have at least 60K free.
