Why does my PC stop responding when connecting my Panasonic Digital Camera via USB?
M
Misty McclureAug 14, 2025
Your PC might stop responding when plugging and unplugging the USB connection cable because Simple Viewer is set to start automatically. To resolve this, change the setting to prevent Simple Viewer from starting automatically. Go to [Advanced] >> [Setting...] and set [Automatic acquisition] to [No]. To manually start Simple Viewer, double-click the LUMIX Simple Viewer shortcut on the desktop.

If the picture was recorded with a digital camera with the clock not set, or if it was recorded with any digital camera other than a Panasonic, its date may not be printed correctly.

How to remove blank spaces when printing pictures from Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100 Digital Camera?
P
Patricia OrrAug 21, 2025
To avoid blank spaces, set [Trimming] to [Yes] when printing. If trimming is not applied, the whole picture is printed, but if the aspect ratio of the paper is different from that of the image, blank spaces will appear.

Why are two identical pictures displayed when acquiring motion pictures from Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100 Digital Camera?
W
whitewhitneyAug 31, 2025
When you record motion pictures, the camera saves them as both motion pictures (MOV format) and still pictures (JPEG format). This also occurs when taking still pictures with audio, or files that are TIFF or RAW format. To delete these related pictures in Simple Viewer, delete each picture individually.
