Taking pictures according to the scene [Scene Mode]

Using [Scene Mode] enables you to take pictures with optimum settings (exposure,
colouring, etc.) for given scenes.
Set mode dial to [ ]
Press to select the Scene Mode and then press
[MENU/SET]
If you press the [DISP.] button, an explanation of the
scene mode appears.
When you select [ ] by rotating the mode dial, the
menu appears automatically. (When [Scene Menu] in
the [Setup] menu is [AUTO])
You can display the [Scene Mode] menu by pressing
[MENU/SET]. For the setting procedures of the menu.

Selecting a Scene Mode inappropriate for the actual scene may affect the colouring of
your picture.
When [Conversion] of [Rec] menu is set to [ ] or [ ], [Handheld Night Shot] and
[3D Photo Mode] Scene Mode cannot be selected.
