Using the [Setup] menu

[Rotate Disp.]
Automatically rotate portrait still pictures.
Settings
([On])
Rotate pictures on a TV and the LCD monitor/viewfinder so that they
are displayed vertically.
([External Only])
Pictures are displayed vertically by rotating when played back on TV.
[OFF]
When you play back pictures on a PC, they cannot be displayed in the rotated
direction unless the OS or software is compatible with Exif. Exif is a file format for still
pictures which allows recording information, etc. to be added. It was established by
“JEITA (Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association)”.
The display is not rotated during Multi Playback.
[Scene Menu]
Set whether or not to display the selection screen for Scene Mode when the camera is
switched to Scene Mode.
Settings
[AUTO] Displays the selection screen.
[OFF] Displays the currently selected Scene Mode recording screen.
[Menu Resume]
Save the last operated menu position.
Settings: [ON] / [OFF]
[Version Disp.]
Check the camera firmware version or display software information.
When you press [MENU/SET] while the version is displayed, software information
such as the licence is displayed.
