Copying pictures from a digital camera or memory card to a PC
Saving pictures
Tips
●The pictures that can be copied are pictures on a memory card that
were recorded using this software or a digital camera that supports
this software, and motion pictures on a DVD that are recorded in
AVCHD format.
Pictures recorded with other digital cameras or other software might
not be copied, output or played back with this software.
●Only pictures with a recording date between 1971 and 2037 can be
handled correctly.
●Do not delete, change, or move the files (extensions .cont/.m2ts/.tmb/
.iis etc.) or folders related to the copied AVCHD/AVCHD Lite motion
pictures using Explorer or a similar method. It will make it impossible
to play back or edit.
(Files related to the AVCHD/AVCHD Lite motion pictures are created
in the same location as the copied file.)

When the copying completion message
is displayed, click [OK].

When the completion window is
displayed after copying, click [Close].
About saving folders
The following copy destinations are set by default.
●Documents (My Documents)
●Pictures (for Windows 7 or Windows Vista)
●Desktop
When Windows is installed on drive C, the folder locations are as
follows.
For Windows 7 or Windows Vista
Documents
C:\Users\(User Name)\Documents
Pictures
C:\Users\(User Name)\Pictures
Desktop
C:\Users\(User Name)\Desktop
For Windows XP
My Documents
C:\Documents and Settings\(User Name)\My Documents
