Self-diagnosis display
There is a self-diagnosis display on the side of the projector. Self-diagnosis display will automatically display the
value of the input supply voltage, or details of errors or warnings when they occur. (x page 28)
The following list shows the alphanumeric symbol that is displayed when an error or a warning has occurred and
its details. The input supply voltage is displayed only with the numeric value.

U04 Air lter clogging f Clean the air lter unit.
U11 Intake temperature warning f The operating environment temperature is too
high. Use the projector in an appropriate operating
environment temperature

U12 Optical module temperature warning
U13 Exhaust air temperature warning
f The operating environment temperature is too
high, or the air exhaust port may be blocked.
Use the projector in an appropriate operating
environment temperature

. Or remove any objects
that are blocking the air exhaust port.

f The operating environment temperature is too
low. Use the projector in an appropriate operating

f Use the projector at an angle not exceeding ±15°
from the horizontal plane.
U31 Portrait installation angle error
f Install the projector with the connecting terminals
down.
U32 Used lamp unit error
f To install in portrait, use the Replacement lamp unit
(for portrait mode).
U33 Used lamp unit mix-up error
f A different type of lamp unit is attached. Check the
model number displayed on the lamp unit and use
a lamp unit with the same model number.

Non-compatible lamp warning
f The lamp unit for portrait mode is attached.
Replace the lamp unit with one compatible with the
projector.
U41 Lamp 1 runtime warning
f It will reach the lamp replacement time. Replace
the lamp unit.

U44 Lamp 4 runtime warning
U51 Lamp 1 error
f Failed to light the lamp. Turn on the power again
after the lamp is cooled. If the lamp still does not
light, consult your dealer.

U61 Lamp 1 runtime has exceeded 3 000 hours

f It has reached the lamp replacement time. Replace
the lamp unit.

wiring that can sufciently withstand the power
consumption of the projector.
