f When performing the simultaneous input of the 4K image (resolution of 3 840 x 2 160 or 4 096 x 2 160) using the Interface Board for HDMI
2 input (Model No.: ET-MDNHM10), it is necessary for the rmware version of the Interface Board for HDMI 2 input to be 2.00 or later. If the
version is earlier than 2.00, the simultaneous process is not performed even if corresponding signal is input. Consult your dealer regarding
the version update to the latest rmware.
For details on how to conrm the rmware version, refer to “How to conrm the rmware version of the Interface Board (optional)”
(x page 38).
f This may not function properly for some connected external devices.
f This may not function properly depending on the signal.
r [SIMUL INPUT SETTING] screen
Usage of each input signal is displayed under the setting items of [SLOT IN] in the [SIMUL INPUT SETTING]
screen when [AUTO(x2-speed)] is set.
[SIMUL INPUT SETTING] Usage of the input signal Details
[AUTO(x2-speed)]
[1st FRAME INPUT] Uses the signal for the corresponding input as a signal for the odd frame.
[2nd FRAME INPUT]
Uses the signal for the corresponding input as a signal for the even
frame.
[HDMI IN]
Set this item in accordance with the video signal input to the <HDMI IN> terminal.
Setting [SIGNAL LEVEL] in [HDMI IN]
1) Press as to select [HDMI IN].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [HDMI IN] screen is displayed.
3) Press as to select [SIGNAL LEVEL].
4) Press qw to switch the item.
f The items will switch each time you press the button.
[AUTO] Automatically sets the signal level.
[64-940]
Select this item when the signal output from the HDMI terminal of the external device (such as a Blu-
ray disc player) is input to the <HDMI IN> terminal.
[0-1023]
Select this item when the signal output from the DVI-D terminal of the external device (such as a
computer) is input to the <HDMI IN> terminal using a conversion cable, etc.
Select this item also when the signal output from the HDMI terminal of a computer, etc., is input to the
<HDMI IN> terminal.
Note
f The optimal setting varies depending on the output setting of the connected external device. Refer to the operating instructions of the
external device regarding the output of the external device.
f The HDMI signal level is displayed for 30 bits of input.
Setting [AUTO GAMMA SELECT] in [HDMI IN]
Set this item when the gamma mode is to be automatically set based on the InfoFrame information added to the
video signal.
1) Press as to select [HDMI IN].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [HDMI IN] screen is displayed.
3) Press as to select [AUTO GAMMA SELECT].
4) Press qw to switch the item.
f The items will switch each time you press the button.
[ENABLE]
Select this item when the gamma mode is to be automatically set to the one compatible with
HDR (High Dynamic Range) based on the InfoFrame information added to the video signal. In such
case, the [PICTURE] menu [GAMMA] is set to [HDR ST2084-500], [HDR ST2084-1000], or
[HDR HLG].
