In the case of [AUTO], it will be detected as [FRONT/DESK] even when the projector tilts over ±40° with the top
side upward or over ±30° with the top side downward. To use the projector that tilts over ±30° with the top side
downward, set the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [PROJECTION METHOD] to [FRONT/CEILING] or [REAR/
CEILING] instead of [AUTO].
However, do not use the projector when it exceeds ±40° with respect to the horizontal plane. Doing so may
shorten the life of the parts.
Parts for ceiling mount (optional)
This requires an optional ceiling mount bracket. Be sure to use the Projector Mount Bracket together with the
ceiling mount bracket for high ceilings or low ceilings.

f Use only the ceiling mount brackets specied for this projector.
f Refer to the Installation Instructions for the ceiling mount bracket when you install the bracket and the projector.

technician.
Screen size and throw distance
Refer to the screen size and projection distances to install the projector. Image size and image position can be
adjusted in accordance with the screen size and screen position.

aligned to t full in the screen.
