Format SD memory card
To copy recorded images on SD memory card, the SD memory card first needs to be formatted. Note that for-
matting the SD memory card will delete all data stored on it.
Important:
 • FormattingwilldeletealldataandsetupinformationstoredonanSDmemorycard.Imagedataoncedelet-
ed cannot be restored.
Step 1
Click the [Copy] button on the operation panel of the
main monitor. (☞ Page 39)
→ The copy start confirmation window will be dis-
played.
Step 2
Click the [Advanced] button.
→ The "Advanced setup" window will be displayed.
Step 3
Click the [Execute] button for "SD card format".
→ The confirmation window will be displayed.
Step 4
Click the [OK] button.
→ Formatting of the SD memory card will start, and a
window indicating that formatting is in progress
will be displayed.
When formatting is completed, the format com-
pletion window will be displayed.
Important:
 • Donotturnoffthepoweroftherecorderwhilefor-
matting is in progress.
