6. Functions of the secondary systems
6.1 Start Control -> Vehicle engine start and stop

The electronic start mechanism, the start control, has the
same function as the engine start and stop regarding the
function of the original vehicle ignition.
Function of the system:
• Switching on the ignition current.
• Activating the indicator lights in the instrument cluster and on
the control element  (blue LED status light).
and
• Activating the starter.
-> Vehicle engine is in operation.
• Interrupting ignition current.
-> Vehicle engine is out of operation.
