Through Keypad Entry the user may change the default value "0" to "2" allows a infinite variable speed adjustment with
a 0-20 mA analog Input. This setting will changeable on the fly. See page 22 for details on how to change mode.
Enable, Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), Extend and Retract Limits are fully functional in this operation
mode.
When increasing speed setting- acceleration or Ramp Rate (R1) is used to ramp from current speed to new analog
setting. When decreasing speed setting, deceleration or Ramp Rate (R2) is used to ramp from current speed to new
analog setting. Ramp (R1, R2) settings are adjusted through keypad entry. See page 34-35 for more detail
Note: The range of input is scaled to ensure minimum pump speed is maintained for proper operation. The speed range
is set by the Pump displacement from the HAS Ordering Code. The Macro also includes a 1% of total command set as
dead band to prevent unwanted travel due to electrical noise imposed on input.
Example 1: 3 cc pump (G03) ordering code, Max pump speed is 4000 RPM. Min pump speed 500 RPM. 20 mA input
equals 100% of max speed, while 10 mA input equates to 56% of max speed. An input of 0.19 mA will be ignored and no
motion generated.
Example 2: 11 cc pump (G11) ordering code, Max pump speed is 2400 RPM. Min pump speed 500 RPM. 20 mA input
equals 100% of max speed, while 10 mA input equates to 60% of max speed. An input of 0.19 mA will be ignored and no
motion generated.
This macro is useful when the desired motion needs to be changed infinitely from a master Programmable Logic
Controller using a analog current type signal.
