Tools for Parflange
®
machines
Any use of unsuitable, damaged or worn tools may result in failure of the screw
connections and damage to the assembly device
Tools must be inspected regularly, and no later than following 50 assemblies
Any worn tools must be replaced
Only use original Parker tools
Keep tools clean and lubricate them regularly
Clean the flaring pin for
inspection
Visual
inspection: The
surface must
not feature any
wear or
damage
Clean the clamping jaws
for inspection
Do not dismantle the tools
Locking pins may
not be
loose or damaged
Visual
inspection:
Spanner flats
must not
feature any
wear or
deposits
Remove any metal
abrasion with a metal
brush
Adjustment of Parflange
®
tools
Undo the screw to reduce
the flaring diameter
(counter-clockwise)
Adjust both screws
at the same time

Tighten the screw to
increase the flaring
diameter
(clockwise)
Set both screws
consistently

Adjust stop
screws in
small steps
Check the flaring
diameter
Secure screws from
twisting out of position
The correct flaring diameter can be set at the Parflange
®
clamping jaws
Basic machine problems cannot be rectified by adjusting the clamping jaws (tube stop
worn, loose screw connections)
