a. Tapping the card processes the transaction and proceeds to printing the receipt.
b. Inserting the card alerts the merchant and cardholder to leave the card in the terminal while
processing. Then the terminal requests the cardholder to provide a signature before printing
the receipt. The merchant may press the Cancel button to require a physical signature on
the receipt instead.
