9.2.5. Lower piston and/or seal and spacer kit replacement
Caution
Use only approved silicone grease or soapy water.
Note
No special tools are needed to change the seals and spacers from the lower piston. The hole
is big enough to do it with the hands.
No. Operation
A Using a flat screwdriver, unscrew (1) and open the cover (2).
B Using pliers, remove the clip (5) and the connecting pin (6).
C Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew (3) and remove the lower power head (4).
D Using pliers, remove the piston (9).
E Using a small hook, remove a seal (7).
F Remove a spacer (8 or 11).
G Repeat E and F for all the seals and spacers.
H Lubricate each new seals (7).
I Put back a seal (7).
J Put back a spacer (8 or 11).
Mandatory
Respect the order of the spacers shown on the sketch.
K Repeat I and J for all the seals and spacers.
L Lubricate the piston o-ring (10).
M Put back the piston (9).
N Follow A to C in reverse order to rebuild.
