IMPORTANT WARNINGS AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - CONTINUED
When mixing acid with water, ALWAYS ADD ACID TO WATER. NEVER ADD WATER TO ACID.
Use of chemicals other than those recommended may be hazardous. Even proper use of the recommended chemicals
can be hazardous. Follow the Chemical Manufacturer’s Instrucons.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, install SC-75 Salt Chlorinator a minimum of 1.5m away from the inside wall of the
pool. Install the unit a minimum of 1m away from the heater outlet.
Salt is an inherently corrosive material. While the levels of salt, required for proper operaon of the SC-75™ Salt Chlo-
rinator, are relavely low when compared to sea water and other salt soluons, placing any amount of salt in your
pool increases the likelihood of corrosion or other deterioraon of pool equipment and any surfaces used in and around your pool.
Metal parts (including metal pools) and certain natural and man-made surfaces are parcularly suscepble to corrosion and dete-
rioraon when used in and around salt water pools. Pentair Aquac Systems (“Pentair”) does not represent or otherwise guarantee
that the proper use of the SC-75 Salt Chlorinator will prevent corrosion or other deterioraon of pool equipment and any surfaces
used in and around your pool. Consult your experienced pool professional, who should be able to advise you on the proper material
selecon, installaon techniques for those materials, and the proper use, care and maintenance of those materials for your specic
pool type and locaon in order to minimize the corrosion and deterioraon that is inherent in and around salt water pools.

instrucons or improper installaon of the cleaner can result in damage to the pool nish or the vinyl liner, Pentair Aquac Systems
disclaims any liability for repairs or replacement to any of these structures or components of the customer’s pool.

There are a multude of factors that contribute to the life of your pool.
Please be aware that over me, deterioraon, discoloraon and brileness of any pool nish can be caused separately by, or in combinaon
with, age, an imbalance in pool water chemistry, improper installaon and other factors.
The same situaon holds true for vinyl-lined in-ground swimming pools, because vinyl liners are also aected by the environment and
factors such as pool water chemistry, sunlight and the pool’s surroundings. Therefore over me, vinyl can become brile and weak. In
addion, vinyl-lined pools are aected by the workmanship, composion and installaon of the liner and the workmanship and quality of
construcon of the supporng walls and pool base. These are all factors which can contribute to liner failure. The manufacturer disclaims
any liability for repairs or replacement to any of these structures or components of the customer’s pool.
The pool owner must assume all responsibility for the condion and maintenance of the pool’s surface, water and deck.
Before the SC-75 Salt Chlorinator is installed, please take a moment to record the serial number. You will be asked for this num-
ber when you contact our Technical Support Department.
