IMPORTANT WARNINGS AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - CONTINUED
When mixing acid with water, ALWAYS ADD ACID TO WATER. NEVER ADD WATER TO ACID.
Use of chemicals other than those recommended may be hazardous. Even proper use of the recommended chemicals
can be hazardous. Follow the Chemical Manufacturers Instrucons.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, install SC-75 Salt Chlorinator a minimum of 1.5m away from the inside wall of the
pool. Install the unit a minimum of 1m away from the heater outlet.
Salt is an inherently corrosive material. While the levels of salt, required for proper operaon of the SC-75™ Salt Chlo-
rinator, are relavely low when compared to sea water and other salt soluons, placing any amount of salt in your
pool increases the likelihood of corrosion or other deterioraon of pool equipment and any surfaces used in and around your pool.
Metal parts (including metal pools) and certain natural and man-made surfaces are parcularly suscepble to corrosion and dete-
rioraon when used in and around salt water pools. Pentair Aquac Systems (“Pentair”) does not represent or otherwise guarantee
that the proper use of the SC-75 Salt Chlorinator will prevent corrosion or other deterioraon of pool equipment and any surfaces
used in and around your pool. Consult your experienced pool professional, who should be able to advise you on the proper material
selecon, installaon techniques for those materials, and the proper use, care and maintenance of those materials for your specic
pool type and locaon in order to minimize the corrosion and deterioraon that is inherent in and around salt water pools.
Limited Warranty Terms & Condions
Before installing your SC-75, review and understand all warnings, safety and warranty informaon in this guide. Failure to follow these
instrucons or improper installaon of the cleaner can result in damage to the pool nish or the vinyl liner, Pentair Aquac Systems
disclaims any liability for repairs or replacement to any of these structures or components of the customers pool.

Disclaimer of Liability - About your Pool and equipment
There are a multude of factors that contribute to the life of your pool.
Please be aware that over me, deterioraon, discoloraon and brileness of any pool nish can be caused separately by, or in combinaon
with, age, an imbalance in pool water chemistry, improper installaon and other factors.
The same situaon holds true for vinyl-lined in-ground swimming pools, because vinyl liners are also aected by the environment and
factors such as pool water chemistry, sunlight and the pool’s surroundings. Therefore over me, vinyl can become brile and weak. In
addion, vinyl-lined pools are aected by the workmanship, composion and installaon of the liner and the workmanship and quality of
construcon of the supporng walls and pool base. These are all factors which can contribute to liner failure. The manufacturer disclaims
any liability for repairs or replacement to any of these structures or components of the customers pool.
The pool owner must assume all responsibility for the condion and maintenance of the pool’s surface, water and deck.
Before the SC-75 Salt Chlorinator is installed, please take a moment to record the serial number. You will be asked for this num-
