Operang Instrucons
When using a pool pump mer: The Associaon of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) recommends that all water in a
residenal pool pass through the ltraon system at least once every 12 hours (referred to as pool water turnover). However,
many factors have an eect on actual pump and lter system run mes. Pool size, source of water, direct sun light, indoor/
outdoor, screened and unscreened, ltraon system, cold or hot weather, swimmer load, rain, organic debris, algae, etc., are
all factors which contribute to either more or less pool pump and lter system run mes. Because of these dierences, it is
extremely dicult to set an inial run me (starng point) for the pool pump and chlorinang system. Try inially seng
the pool pump mer to 12 hours. It will take a few days to get just the right amount pool pump operang me. When the
Chlorinator is wired with a pool pump mer results will vary greatly from one pool installaon to the next, so this should be
discussed with either the pool builder or your pool professional.
Installaon
The following informaon describes how to install the SC-75 Power Center. Before installing, review the SC-75 kit contents
and required tools.

drill bit (to mount power center).
Installing the SC-75 Power Center
IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: Read all the safety precauons in this
manual before aempng any electrical wiring. Be sure to read and follow all safety Instrucons. Wiring
should only be performed by a qualied professional. When using electrical products, basic precauons should always be
followed, including the following:
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, WHICH CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
Before aempng installaon of service, ensure that all power to the circuit supplying power to the system
is disconnected/switched o at the circuit breaker.
IMPORTANT: The power supply must be interconnected with pool pump motor power source. This ensures
the SC-75 chlorinator and pool pump will switch on and o together.
Grounding (earth bonding) is required. The unit should be installed by a qualied service person.
Install the SC-75 unit a minimum of 60cm (two feet) from the heater outlet.
Allow ample access to the SC-75 control panel buons and the SC-75 Power Center.
Pipe couplings: Schedule 80, maximum pressure 5 Bar (75 psi) at 21° C
Operate unit with 6m³/h (25 GPM). For high ow applicaons, use a bypass loop.
Install the Power Center at eye level as close to the SC-75 pump and ltraon as possible.
The Power Center must be installed more than 2.5meter (8 .) from the pool edges.
Leave sucient clearance on all sides of the Power Center. Ensure that 5meter (15 .) power cord from the Cell assembly
locaon can reach the Power Center locaon. The Power Center enclosure can be mounted on the wall up to 5 meter (15
feet) away from the cell.
Note: For installaon instrucons about connecng the cell to Power Center, see the “SC-75 Users Guide”.
