9.02 Inserting the needle in the PFAFF 1243
Turn the machine off!
Danger of injury if the machine
is started accidentally!
Use only system 134 needles.
● Raise the needle bar as far as possible
and loosen screw 1.
● Insert the needle 2 as far as possible (the
long needle groove must be facing left).
● Tighten screw 1.

● Raise the roller presser and swing it out.
● Raise the needle bar as far as possible
and loosen screw 1.
● Insert the needles 2 as far as possible
(the long needle groove of the left
needle must be facing right and that of
the right needle must be facing left).
● Tighten screws 1.
