8.7 Sealing kit for oshore / ground applications
An additional sealing kit is required for oshore / ground applica-
tions. Prepare the screen wires for earthing before the large he-
at-shrink tubing is shrunk onto the bell ange.

Installation / Assembly
Fix the screen wires 20 mm after the sealing tape with duct tape.

Bundle the screen wires together.

Apply the long slim heat-shrink tubing over the screen wires.

Apply the cable lug.

Place two more layer of sealing tape under and over the bundled
screen wires.

Heat the short shrink tubing at the cable lug and the long slim shrink
tubing.

Position the Glue Peg on the large heat-shrink tubing between the cab-
le and the heat-shrink covered screen wires.

Evenly heat the shrink tubing starting from the bell ange until the he-
at-shrink tubing ts evenly all round (below the ribbing) and the inner
adhesive is exposed from both sides.
