PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE OPERATION
This unit must be plugged into a dedicated circuit protected by branch circuit breaker.
Use a dedicated power source as indicated on the rating label attached to the unit. A
multiple-tap may cause fire resulting from abnormal heating.
Do not climb onto the unit or put any articles on the unit. Injury may be caused by toppling or
damage of the unit or if the articles fall.
Never install the unit in a location where the corrosive material such as sulfur compound is
likely to be generated (near a drainage facilities, etc). Corrosion of the copper pipe may result in
deterioration of cooling unit and consequently the failure.
Do not touch the evaporating pipe directly. The evaporating pipe is hot. Touching the
evaporating pipe during operation of the unit or immediately after stopping of the operation may cause
injury.
Always store the items in the drawers. The storage at outside of the drawers may degrade the
quality of storage items.
Before resuming operation after a stoppage, be absolutely sure to check the settings. The
settings may have changed as a result of the stoppage. When operation is resumed with the settings
changed, the storage item inside the unit may be adversely affected.
Never store corrosive substances such as acid or alkali in this unit if the container cannot be
sealed. These may be harmful to your health and may cause corrosion of inner components or
electric components.
Submit a safety check sheet with the required items filled out so that the safety of the service
engineer is maintained. The safety check sheet is provided as the “Safety Check Sheet (page to be
copied) in this operating instructions.
