Now place a gramophone record on the turntable and check
that the 2 needle points do not touch the plate at the same time. The 2 . the needle points must in turn
turn the plate racks. The cheeks of the unit must not touch the disc/ plate. In order to meet these
requirements, it is important that the arm is not twisted
B. The bolt (91) in the clip of the hinge (93) must now be rotated enough
to be tightened so that the noose can still rotate about the vertical axis. Now tighten the adjusting
screws (100) for the vertical movement and also the counter nuts. The latter, however, not yet
lock to allow for adjustment. The pick-up must be able to move up and down without any play.
C. Turn the disc press into the rest groove, take out the spindle pin, place the TASTER / probe in the 30
cm position, after turning the control Disk into the change position. The P.U.arm must now be brought
into a horizontal position by adjusting the threaded bush (H fig. 8) on the lifting rod, after which the
locking ring can be fitted with a disc.
D. Tighten the guiding/handlebar hook against the blade/probe and place the needle tip above the
center of the starting/run-in groove of a 30 cm plate. Now the bolt (91) can then be locked in the hinge.
E. Now turn the control Disk to the home/ rest position. The needle points
of the transducer head must be brought to the same level with the top of the turntable by bending the
bracket (92) under the lift rod. The lifting plate (82)
is now approx. 0.3 mm free from the disc (H fig.8).
F. Now check the vertical movement of the arm for play
in the bearings and now also tighten the lock nuts.
G. After the 30 cm set-up has been set in the foregoing,
this can now be done for the 25 cm plates. By adjusting the screw (C fig. 6) in the pin of the starting
spring, the stroke of the steering hook is controlled so that there is a possibility of correction here.
