Playback settings (continued)
Parental Control
Some DVDs may have a parental level assigned to the complete
disc or to certain scenes on the disc. This feature lets you set a
playback limitation level.
Rating explanations
{ 1. Kid Safe } ~ { 2. G } – Childsafe; acceptable for viewers of all
ages.
{ 3. PG } – Parental Guidance suggested.
{ 4. PG13 } – Unsuitable for children under age 13.
{ 5. PG R } ~ { 6. R } – Restricted; recommended that parents
restrict children under 17 from viewing or
allow to view only when supervized by a
parent or adult guardian.
{ 7. NC 17 } – No children under age 17; viewing not
recommended for children under age 17.
{ 8. Adult } – Mature material; should be viewed only
by adults due to graphic sexual material,
violence or language.
1) Press OK to access this menu and
2) Use ST keys to select one of the options and press OK.
3) Use the numeric keypad 0-9 to enter your four-digit pin code
and press OK. (When doing this for the  rst time, enter the
default password ‘1234’.)
Change Password
Change the password for parental control.
Use the numeric keypad 0-9 to enter your four-digit pin code
and press OK.
1) Enter your existing four digit password. (When doing this for
the  rst time, enter the default password ‘1234’.)
2) Enter the new four digit pin code.
3) Enter the same four digit pin code again.
PBC
This ‘PBC’ (Play Back Control) allows you to play the (Super)
Video CDs interactively, following the menu on-screen.
{ On } – Turn on PBC control.
{ Off } – Turn off PBC control.
