Playback settings (underlined options are the factory default settings)
Audio Language
Select the preferred audio language for DVD playback.
Subtitle Language
Select the preferred subtitle language for DVD playback.
Notes:
If the selected audio/subtitle language is not available on the
disc, the disc’s default setting language will be used instead.
For some DVDs, the subtitle/audio language can only be
changed via the DVD disc menu.
TV Shape
Set the aspect ratio of the recorder according to the TV type
you have connected.
{ 4:3 PS } – Select this for a full-height picture with
both side trimmed.
{
4:3 LB } – Select this for a ‘wide screen’ display with
black bands on the upper and lower
portions of the TV screen.
{ 16:9 } – Select this for wide screen TV (frame ratio
16:9).
Resume
With this feature, you can resume last played disc playback from
its last stopped point.
{
On } – Turn on the resume mode. The recorder
will auto resume playback of the disc from
its last stopped position.
{ Off } – The disc will always start from the
beginning when you load a disc or start
playback.
Note: To cancel the resume option, press the OPEN/CLOSE key
on the remote control.
