UPC-E1 Preamble
Preamble characters (Country Code and System Character) can be transmitted as part of a UPC-E1 symbol.
Select one of the following options for transmitting UPC-E1 preamble to the host device: transmit system character
only, transmit system character and country code (“0” for USA), or transmit no preamble.
No Preamble

(< COUNTRY CODE> <SYSTEM CHARACTER> <DATA>)
Convert UPC-E to UPC-A
Enable this parameter to convert UPC-E (zero suppressed) decoded data to UPC-A format before
transmission. After conversion, data follows UPC-A format and is affected by UPC-A programming
selections (e.g., Preamble, Check Digit).
Scan DO NOT CONVERT UPC-E TO UPC-A to transmit UPC-E (zero suppressed) decoded data.
Convert UPC-E to UPC-A (Enable)
*Do Not Convert UPC-E to UPC-A (Disable)
