Measure the tension between terminals 1 and
22 of the special tool.
1-22 = 5±0.2 V
Check the control unit connection.
If necessary proceed with replacement of the control unit.

Connect the TPS connector.
Repeat tension measurement between
terminals
1 and 22 of the special tool.
1-22 = 5±0.2 V
Replace the throttle body complete with sensors and stepper.
(see Chapter. 7-THERMAL UNIT AND TIMING SYSTEM )

Measure the tension between terminals 11 and 22. Gradually open the throttle valve and
check that tension value increases gradually.
11-22 = V (gradual variation)
NOTE
As an indication, the tension limits can vary from a minimum ~700mV to more
than 4V maximum.
The possible variations in value limits are generated by the mounting
tolerances of the sensor.
