Soap-based lithium grease with NLGI 3; ISO-L-
XBCHA3, DIN K3K-20
- Remove the screws shown in the figure and re-
move the engine starting lever.
- For the assembly, work in reverse and tighten the
screws to the prescribed torque..
Locking torques (N*m)
Starter lever replacement 12 to 13 Nm
Removing the driven pulley shaft bearing
- Slightly heat the crankshaft from the inside side
to avoid damaging the coated surface and use the
driven pulley shaft or a pin of the same diameter
to remove the bearing.
N.B.
IN CASE OF DIFFICULTY A STANDARD 8MM-INSIDE DI-
AMETER EXTRACTOR CAN BE USED.
Refitting the driven pulley shaft bearing
-Refit the bearing with the aid of a bushing with the same diameter as the external plate of the bearing
after slightly heating the crankcase from the inside.
N.B.
WHEN REFITTING, ALWAYS REPLACE THE BEARING WITH A NEW ONE.
CAUTION
WHEN REMOVING/REFITTING THE BEARING, TAKE CARE NOT TO DAMAGE THE PAINTED
SURFACE.
