WHEN CARRYING OUT THE OPERATION, BRAKE FLUID
MAY LEAK FROM BETWEEN THE BLEED SCREW AND ITS
SEAT ON THE CALLIPER.
CAREFULLY DRY THE CALLIPER AND DEGREASE THE
DISC SHOULD THERE BE OIL ON IT.

Front brake pump
-After removing the front and rear handlebar covers, act on the two stand fixing points (see the figure).
- Disconnect the tube, collecting the brake oil in a container.
- On refitting, perform the operation in reverse.
- Tighten the hydraulic line to the prescribed torque
and bleed the system.
Locking torques (N*m)
Brake fluid pump - hose fitting 16 ÷20 Nm
Removal
- Bleed the circuit and drain the brake fluid through
the bleeding screw located on the calliper and ac-
tuate the brake lever until no more fluid flows out.
-Remove the oil pump from the handlebar; remove
the brake lever and then remove the wheel cylin-
der.
