This guarantees that there is no connection
between the neutral conductor and protective
conductor within the machine. With unbalanced
loads, e.g. TN-C systems, currents can be fed
back to the source via the PEN conductor and
the currents on the PEN are not zero. This can
lead to EMC problems.
