Connecting to your TV
This system has two video outputs: one standard VIDEO OUT
and one S-VIDEO OUT. If your TV has an S-Video input, we
recommend using an S-Video cord (not supplied, but
available from any video equipment retailer) to connect this
unit to the TV. This should give you a better picture than
using the standard-type video cord.

If your TV has only a standard video input, use the supplied
video cord to connect this unit to the TV.

Note: Placing the main unit too close to your TV may cause
interference, especially if you’re using an indoor antenna. If
you notice interference, move the unit away from the TV.
Using a subwoofer
If you want more powerful bass than the provided speakers
deliver, connect a powered subwoofer to the SUBWOOFER
PREOUT
jack. See the instructions that come with the
subwoofer for detailed installation instructions.
• Connect the subwoofer to this system using a standard
audio cord with RCA/phono plugs.
• It is possible to use a passive subwoofer. Connect the
SUBWOOFER PREOUT of this system to a suitable
amplifier, then connect the subwoofer to that amplifier.
• The SUBWOOFER PREOUT signal is a mono mix of the
left and right channels.
Utilisation d’un haut-parleur
d’extrême grave
Si vous souhaitez des graves plus puissants que ceux fournis
par les enceintes livrées, raccordez un haut-parleur d’extrême
grave à la prise SUBWOOFER PREOUT. Si vous souhaitez
des graves plus puissants que ceux fournis par les enceintes
livrées, raccordez un haut-parleur d’extrême grave à la prise.
• Raccordez le haut-parleur d’extrême grave à cette chaîne
en utilisant un cordon audio standard à fiches RCA/
phono.
• Il est possible d’utiliser un haut-parleur d’extrême grave
passif. Raccordez le SUBWOOFER PREOUT de cette
chaîne à un amplificateur appropié, puis raccordez le
haut-parleur d’extrême grave à cet amplificateur.
• Le signal de présortie du SUBWOOFER PREOUT est un
mixage mono des canaux de droite et de gauche.
Raccordement à la télévision
Ce système possède deux sorties vidéo : une sortie vidéo
standard VIDEO OUT et une sortie S-VIDEO OUT. Si votre
télévision possède une entrée S-video, nous vous
recommandons d’utiliser un cordon S-Video (non fourni mais
en vente chez tous les vendeurs de matériel vidéo) pour
raccorder votre unité à la télévision. Vous obtiendrez ainsi une
meilleure image que si vous utilisiez le cordon vidéo de type
standard.

Si votre téléviseur possède uniquement une entrée vidéo
standard, utilisez le cordon vidéo fourni pour raccorder ce
système à la télévision.

Remarque: Si vous placez l’unité principale à proximité de
votre télévision, vous risquez de créer des interférences, en
particulier si vous utilisez une antenne intérieure. Si vous
remarquez des interférences, éloignez l’unité de la télévision.
