turn

pump,
reduce
the
power
until the engine
is
warm
and
turn
the
alternator
switch
ON.

required
the
starter
may
be
used
in
conjunction
with
the
unfeathering
accumulators.

FIRE
ENG1NE
FIRE
ON
THE GROUND
The
first
attempt to
extinguish
the
fire is
to
try
to
draw
the
fire back
into
the
engine.
If
the
engine
has
not
started
move
the
mixture
control
to
idle
cut-off and
open
the
throttle,
Begin
to
crank the
engine
with
the
starter
in
an
attempt
to
pull the
fire into
the
engine.
the
engine
has
already started and
is
running,
continue operating
to
try
to
pull the
fire
into
the
engine.
In
either
case(above),
if
the
fire
continues
longer than
a
few
seconds the
fire
should
be
extinguished
by
the
best
available
external
means.
It
