This system does not currently comply with US 14 CFR part 91, SFAR 97 requf""'1enls for TSO-
C146a equipment Until complete compliance is demonstrated and approved by the FAA,
authorization to conduct any GPS or WAAS operation under Instrument Fright Rules (IFR)
requires that:
a) Aircraft using the GPS or WMS capablllty (Jf the 50(J{'I series navigation equipml!lnt under
IF'R must be ftqUipped With an approved and oper.dJonal altemate means of navigation
appropriate to the flight with the exception of ooeanic af'l<I rem~ operations.
b) For flight planning purposes, if an attemate airport is required it must have .in approved
instrument .aPPf'QaCll procedure other than GPS or RNAV that m anticiJ)ated to be
operational and available at the estimated time Of arrival. All equipment n!qUl!lld for this

the avallabltlfy of RAIM for the Intended fflght In ao:on:lance with the local aviation autflority
guidelines fm TSO.C129a equipment WAAS NOTAMs (or their ab&ence) and gonmic
pnedlction too~ do not provide an acceptable indiCation of availability.
d) When flight planning an lNAVIVNAV or LPV appmach, operators should use the Garmin
Prediction Ptognim pan number 006-A0154--03 (With the Garmin GA35 Antenna, PIN 013--
00235..QO
