a) If lt1(I Garmin 50<1JV Series unit GPS navigation infonnaUon ls not available, or is invalid,

(indicau,d by the annunciation of "OR" in the lower left of the display). the moving map will
continue to be dlsr,layed. Aimraft position will be ba9ed upon the last valid GPS position end
estimated by Dead Reckoning methO<I$. Changes In airspeed or winds aloft can affect ttle
estimal'ed position substantially. Dead Reaconfng is only available In Enroute mode; Tetminal
and Approaet, mOCles do not support OR.
b) If a "Loss of Integrity" (INTEG) messaQ8 Is displayed during:
• Enroute/Terminal: oontln11t1 lo navigate using GPS equipment and periodically cros&-
cheel( tl'le GPS guidance to other approved rnaani: of navigation.
• GPS Approach: GPS approaehes are not auth~ under INTEG • E.xeQlte mi$$ed
approach or revert to alternate navigation.
c) Duling a GPS I.PV precision approach or GPS LNAVNNAV apprcac;ti, the SO<NV Senes unit
will downgrad1!1 the approach if !he H~I or-Vel'lic:ll alann limit, are exceeded. This wiD
cause the vertieal guidance ti) 11ag as unavailable. The prooedure may be i::ontinued using the
LNAVonly minimums.
d) During any GPS approaeh in which precision and rion-preclslon alarm limits are exceeded,
