Blower Housing Assembly
Disassembly / Assembly Process
1. Clamp recoil rope with a pliers. Remove recoil handle
from rope. Tie knot in end of rope and remove pliers.
2. Remove recoil / fan housing.
3. Remove cylinder cover. (Carburetor intake boots and
exhaust manifold removal required to remove cylinder
side covers). Discard used intake and exhaust
gaskets.
4. Lock recoil hub with a large screwdriver. Remove
recoil hub fasteners.
5. Reference RECOIL PULLEY section for recoil
disassembly / assembly information.
6. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly.
