Winch Installation Instructions

Vehicle Preparation and Panel Removal

Disconnect battery, remove driver seat, hood, and shift lever for access.

Center Console and Initial Wiring Route

Remove the center console and route the battery cable harness through the firewall.

Front Fascia and Winch Plate Mounting

Remove the front fascia and install the winch mounting plate onto the vehicle.

Winch Assembly and Cable Connection

Connect wires to the winch and mount it securely to the plate.

Fairlead and Cable Routing Setup

Mount fairleads and front plate brackets, then route winch cables.

Hook Attachment and Contactor Mounting

Attach the winch hook to the cable and mount the winch contactor on the firewall.

Main Electrical Connections

Connect power cables to the contactor and bus bar as per diagram.

3500 Winch Specific Wiring

Route and connect socket wires for the 3500 winch to the contactor and bus bar.

4500 Winch Specific Wiring

Connect fairlead to control unit and route cables for the 4500 winch.

Final Socket, Remote, and Reassembly

Install socket, remote, connect battery, and reassemble vehicle components.
