Why is my PolyScience DuraChill 58 not cooling enough?
    • D
      david42Aug 13, 2025
If your PolyScience Laboratory Equipment chiller isn't cooling properly, several factors could be the cause. Check for dust buildup on the air filter or condenser and clean them if necessary. Ensure that the air ventilation screens are not blocked. Verify that the heat load doesn't exceed the chiller's capacity. The ambient air temperature might be too high, so try to decrease it. Also, check for low or high line voltage and correct it as needed. If the temperature readings of the compressor upper, evaporator inlet and evaporator outlet temperature sensor is -50°C, the sensor needs to be replaced.

What to do if there is no fluid circulation in my PolyScience DuraChill 58?
    • T
      Taylor GoodmanAug 17, 2025
If you're experiencing no fluid circulation in your PolyScience Laboratory Equipment, there are a few things to check: * Make sure there is enough fluid in the reservoir and add more if needed. * Look for any blockages in the circulating system and remove them. * If the pump isn't operating, it may need to be replaced.

How to improve insufficient circulation in PolyScience DuraChill 58 Laboratory Equipment?
    • M
      Michael JonesAug 20, 2025
If you have insufficient circulation in your PolyScience Laboratory Equipment, consider the following: * The fluid viscosity might be too high; replace it with a lower viscosity fluid. * The external tubing diameter could be too small; replace it with larger diameter tubing. * Check for any restrictions in the fluid lines and correct them. * Also, check for low line voltage and correct it as required.

Why my PolyScience DuraChill 58 doesn't run and the display is blank?
    • S
      Sydney DavisAug 26, 2025
If your PolyScience Laboratory Equipment unit does not run and the digital displays are blank, check that the electrical cord or wiring is securely connected to a working electrical source. Also, make sure the Power Switch / Circuit Breaker on the rear of the unit is turned ON.

What to do if PolyScience DuraChill 58 doesn't run but shows decimal points?
    • J
      Jessica LawsonAug 28, 2025
If your PolyScience Laboratory Equipment unit does not run and three decimal points appear on the Temperature Display and two decimal points on the Pressure/Flow Rate Display, the unit might be in Standby mode. Try pressing the Power Button on the front panel to turn it on.

Why is my PolyScience DuraChill 58 Laboratory Equipment not heating?
    • I
      idawsonSep 1, 2025
If your PolyScience Laboratory Equipment does not heat, it might be because the OTP has tripped due to insufficient fluid in the reservoir. Add fluid to the reservoir and then reset the OTP.

What does fault code 10 mean on my PolyScience DuraChill 58 Laboratory Equipment?
    • T
      Tracy StewartSep 5, 2025
If fault code 10 appears on the display of your PolyScience Laboratory Equipment, it could be due to extreme electrical line interference. Try plugging the unit into another power source. If the problem continues, the triac may have failed, and you should replace the triac or triac driver as required.

What does fault code 12 mean on PolyScience DuraChill 58 Laboratory Equipment?
    • A
      Andrew PotterSep 8, 2025
If you see fault code 12 on your PolyScience Laboratory Equipment display, it could indicate a loose external probe connection. Check and correct it as needed. Alternatively, the external temperature probe might be faulty and need replacement. Note that the chiller can still be operated using the internal probe until the issue is resolved.
