SMS SERVICE
3.2. User Management
The SMS service implements a strict user management system.
Any user must be registered in the system to use the SMS service. Every user needs to have the
necessary rights or permissions to execute any single action with the service.
It is necessary to register a name and a phone number for every new user introduced in the
database.
The user rights are configured by the user himself. The available rights are the following ones:
QUERY: It allows the user to send query messages.
NOTIFICATION: User will receive all activated notifications messages.
START: User can start the motor (special messages).
STOP: User can stop the motor (special messages).
RESET: User can reset the drive (special messages).
3.3. SMS Service Configuration
The SMS service is configured through many different configuration dialogue windows.
To access to the SMS service in order to configure it, the user should tap on option ‘Configuration’
from the system menu. After this, the ‘Options’ dialogue window will appear and the user should tap
on tab ‘SMS’. That is the main configuration dialogue for the SMS service. The following figure shows
the step sequence to access to it.
