5. Attach the handlebars. Diagram 6. Take the following steps:
a. Remove the six black screws (D) and six washers (B) from the Hardware
kit. Place a washer on each screw.
b. Pick up a handlebar and slide it onto the bracket. See Diagram 6, #1.
c. Make sure that the handlebar is positioned as shown in Diagram 6, #1 and #2.
d. Insert three black screws (D) with washers (B) and tighten the fasteners
with your fingers.
Important: Do not wrench tighten the fasteners until after the linkage arm
is attached.
e. Perform steps b. through d. on the opposite side.
6. Attach the handlebar linkage to the foot pedal by taking the following steps:
a. Remove the two screws (E), four washers (F), and two steel bushings (G)
from the Hardware kit. Place a washer and bushing on each screw.
Note: Perform the following steps on one side at a time.
b. Thread the screw (E) with fasteners (F and G) into the roller arm mount.
