Troubleshooting the PVS 69
Issue What to Do
Poor TV reception • Adjust Sharpness under the Picture
settings.
• Try a different channel to rule out
problems with the channel provider.
• Make sure the thin coaxial cable is
securely to the connector on the back
of the PVS.
• Make sure the main television cable is
securely connected to the thin coaxial
cable.
• Check for sources of local
electromagnetic interference.
Ghost images in
picture

iPod content cannot be
heard or viewed
through the PVS
(PEP-equipped models
only)
• Check that the connection between the
iPod device and the PVS is secure. If a
protective cover is installed on the
device, remove the cover and
reconnect the device.
Note: You must remove the back cover
of the console cap to perform the
following tasks.
• Verify that the green LED on the iPod
interface board lights up when an iPod
device is connected to the PEP. If not,
verify that the power cable is securely
connected to the iPod interface board.
• Check to make sure that the iPod
interface cable is securely connected,
properly grounded, and not worn or
damaged.
• If the green LED lights up, verify that
the two-wire cable between the two
circuit boards in the cap is intact and is
connected properly.
