9. Speak or sing into your microphone at approximately the
same volume you expect during the performance.
10. Move the Fat Channel Preamp slider up while watching the
input meter on the Channel Strip and adjust the input gain
until the meter reaches a little more than halfway up. The
meter should never go into the red area at the top.
