D. Operation
D3. Fitting the welding device
1) Stud holder:
Two sizes of stud holders are supplied with
the PRO SPOT PR-8. Select the correct
holder to suit the size of stud to be welded,
and fit it using the brass nut supplied.
2) Conducting probe (graphite arc):
Fit this in the same way as the stud hold-
ers.
The welding devices, studs and washers can
be stored on the tool chart.
3) Tongs for double-sided welding:
The tongs can be connected to the same
welding cables, which means that they can
be changed without having to change the
cables.
