Using a screw driver, widen the groove of
the ‘female’ slat along a length of 5 cm.

Press down to start clipping.

Align the slats for assembly. They
should be held at a 110°C
angle.

Flatten out the assembly.

Continue clipping the slats together
using the mallet. Slide your finger along
the join behind the mallet as you advance to
check that the slats are correctly clipped
together. If you encounter a bump, stop; pull
the 2 slats apart slightly and pass the screw
driver to facilitate assembly, then continue
with the operation.

Finish clipping the slats together
checking that the slats are perfectly
aligned. Misalignment can break the plastic
tab.

Connecting the slats to the axle (except Thermodeck, slats are connected to the axle in the factory)
Ø 250 mm axles: slide the
straps under the metallic
plates and tighten the screws.
Installation of the counterweight on the beam (submerged cover only)
Adjust such that the counterweight is suspended 2 cm above the pit floor
when the cover is rolled out.
