INSTRUCTIONS SPECIFIC TO ABOVE-GROUND COVERS
When assembling the slat cover only use the number of slats necessary to cover the pool.
Extra slats should be removed and stored away from sunlight.
Program the end of travel such that when the cover is rolled up, the leading slat hangs beneath
the bottom joist of the cover housing.
Strap
If the submerged slat cover features an add-on to cover submerged steps or a specific pool shape, the add-on will be fitted with retainer pieces mounted under the second
and eighth slats (A). The retainer pieces block the slat cover in its rolled out position and prevent it from rolling itself up backwards (B).

Above-ground cover aprons are fitted with skis.
The skis should be clipped between the first two slats of the cover to force the cover to move forward while it is being unrolled.
The step piece should also be fitted with skis to facilitate rolling it out.
