offrequenciesaffected.Thefilterisprimarily12
dB/Octave,butinachievingthissortofrolloffwitha
high‘Q
valuewillresultinquitealargeovershootin
levelattheturnoverfrequency.Thistypeoffilterisoftenalsocalledaresonantfilter.

frequencytosettleat12dBdownfrom0dBr.Thisfilter
canbeusedinconjunctionwiththestandardcrossover
filterstoproducesharperrolloffsthanwouldbe
otherwiseachievable.
