1.2 DESCRIPTION
CROMOBEAM250 is the rst BEAM moving head based on LED light source, housing a high-power 60W
diode. The optical unit is composed by a special smooth-surface lens, featuring a highly concentrated
parallel beam. Its light output can be compared to a MSR575 luminaire with Iris eect enabled. The amazing
rapid movements and the absence of noise make CROMOBEAM250 the perfect device to generate eect
in the air, replacing the traditional long-throw projectors and the ACL parsets in medium sized light-shows.
1.3 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Light source and optics:
• 1 x 60W high-power white Luminus LED.
• Projection angle: 6°.
• High eciency optical system with a smooth-surface lens to generate a parallel BEAM eect.
• LED average life span: >50’000h.
Dimmer / shutter / strobe
• 0-100% linear dimmer.
• Independent shutter and fading eects with adjustable speed.
• Strobe: mechanical, 1-20 ash per second.
Color system
• Colour wheel with 8 dichroic lters + open (linear-stepless selection).
• Rainbow eect with speed adjustment.
• Easy calibration and maintenance by magnetic repositioning.
Eects
• Rotating gobo wheel: 7 interchangeble gobos (1 of which dichroic).
• Gobos rotation in both CW and CCW direction.
• “Gobo-shake” eect and continuous rotation.
• Easy access to gobo wheel for replacement.
• Easy show: built-in programs with automatic/sound activated mode enabled by LCD control panel.
• Edit mode: creation and memorization of custom shows (up to 255 steps) directly from LCD user inter-
face.
Electronics
• User Interface: graphic LCD display to control unit DMX addressing, general settings.
• 2 DMX congurations available: 8 channels (8 bit) and 11 channels (16 bit) for advanced or basic control
mode.
• Input and output signal through XLR 3p connector.
• Unit reset: through control panel or via DMX.
• Electronic self-test and check-up for diagnostics.
• Cooling: forced air, protection against overheating.
Structure and moving body
• High resistance and ame retardant polymer case in black colour.
• Motion Angle: Pan = 540° Tilt = 270°.
• Pan/Tilt resolution: 8-bit or 16-bit:
• Pan = 2,10° Pan Fine = 0,008° Tilt = 1,05° Tilt Fine = 0,004°.
• Suspension and xing: any possible working position by means of omega kit (included).
