Summary

1 OVERVIEW

1.1 CONTROL PANEL

Controls on the 6300 panel are accessible after opening the door.

1.2 DEVICES

Digital addressable loops use sensors. Refer to Appendix A for available devices.

2 CONTROL FUNCTIONS

2.1 SYSTEM NORMAL

Displays panel state, time, and date. Site-specific text or service message may appear.

2.2 FIRE SIGNALS

Details fire event location, zone, loop, and address. Evacuate immediately on fire alarm.

2.3 SILENCE ALARMS

Silences alarms and changes buzzer. Do not reset until cause is established.

USER MENUS

Isolation Menus

Accesses functions for isolating addresses and zones.

Set Up Time

Allows setting the system's current time and date.

Clear System Fault; Change

Used to clear system faults or acknowledge system changes.

Advanced Options

Provides access to advanced functions like printer menus and tests.

ISOLATION FUNCTIONS

Isolation Menu Options

Lists sub-menu options: ISOLATE ADDRESS, VIEW ADDRESSES, ISOLATE ZONE, VIEW ZONES, DISABLEMENTS, FIRE LINK DISABLEMENT.

3.1 ISOLATING AN ADDRESS

Procedure to isolate a specific address by selecting loop, address, and state (NORMAL/ISOLATED).

3.2 VIEWING THE ISOLATED ADDRESSES

Displays isolated addresses, allowing scrolling through them using NEXT/PREVIOUS.

SET TIME & DATE

Setting Time and Date

Use ACCEPT to scroll and NEXT/PREVIOUS to change time/date variables.

CLEARING SYSTEM FAULT; CHANGE

Clearing System Faults

Clears system faults (warm starts) or system changes (device exchanges).

ADVANCED OPTIONS

Advanced Options Menu

Provides access to printer functions, event log, analogue data, device text, and tests.

Provides threshold levels for various analogue sensors (smoke, temperature, heat).

DIGITAL DEVICES

Provides threshold levels for digital devices like MCP, MICCO, and SOUNDER.
