Front and Rear Features
Front View
16-Port MPS1000
Figure 3-1, “Front View 16-Port MPS1000,” shows an example of the front of a 16-port
MPS1000. The 16-port MPS1000 contains two CPC358 cards in the front and two RTM358
cards in the rear of the chassis.

Eight-Port MPS1000
The 8-port MPS1000 looks similar to the 16-port version, but it does not have a second
CPC358 card in the front or a second RTM358 in the rear of the chassis. The empty slots in the
front and rear of the 8-port MPS1000 contain filler panels.
Note: Both slots are non-H.110 slots.
