What to do if hot-swapping failed drives on QNAP Storage?

To replace a failed drive, log on to QTS, then navigate to 'Main Menu > Storage & Snapshots > Storage > Disks/VJBOD'. Find the failed drive, and prepare a new hard drive which has the same or larger capacity. Remove the failed drive from the device, wait 20 seconds (or until you hear two beeps), remove the failed drive from the tray, insert the new drive into the tray, and then install the new drive.
